I chose this song as the final prayer to this album. It’s one of my favorites and so beautifully written, by Shane Baker, who himself is a vivid example of a Christ-like life. His father, Gary Baker, (Grammy award winning songwriter: “I Swear”, “I’m Already There” and many more) is a dear friend of mine as well. This song is so simple, yet powerfully crafted. It’s pure lyric speaks from the heart. It reminds us of the eternal love, devotion, and gratitude that should be carried in our hearts continually for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It speaks of the amazing power God has given us freely through his Son’s infinite atonement if we will but only humbly ask. It is only because of our God’s unmeasured “grace” that we were bought with a price to satisfy justice and by His mercy we are saved and made “free”. This song concludes this project and serves as a benediction for all who worked so tirelessly on this album. - Marie Osmond |
